Beliefs

We are an Apostolic church committed to exhortation, edification, evangelism, and social action. A local body believing there is a universal body which has been called out of the world in order to minister to the world grace, power, and love of the Triune God (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit).

In a nutshell…
We live to know Christ and make Him known

Take a Deeper Look

Exhortation
A worshiping church comprised of true believers, giving glory to God with word and deed. (John 4: 23-24)

Edification
Dedicated to building up believers in becoming intensely committed to Jesus, obedient to His Word, submissive to His Spirit, and dedicated to His Church. Aiming to help all believers discover their spiritual gifts and employ them in the church. Helping people discover that the attendees are the ministers. (Ephesians 4:11-16)

Evangelism
Lost people matter to God. This is the driving passion of Iasis Christ Fellowship. The Gospel Message for the unsaved and the unchurched. (Luke 15)

Social Action
Devoted to enhancing the demonstration of God’s love, grace, and power to our neighbors. (Luke 4:18-19)

Statement of Faith

The Bible
We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired Word of God, inerrant in its original manuscripts. It is our standard for faith and practice and the measure by which all personal revelation is to be evaluated.

God
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is Creator, Redeemer, and the Sovereign Ruler of the universe.

Jesus
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious death, His atoning blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

Sin
We believe that sin is disobedience to God’s inspired word and the rejection of His authority. All have sinned and are, therefore, lost and separated from God. (Romans 3:23)

Salvation
We believe that salvation of lost and sinful man comes through faith in Jesus Christ. When people repent (forsake their sins and turn to Christ), He forgives their sins and imparts eternal life. This personal experience is necessary to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells believers, confirming their salvation and enabling them to bear Godly fruit. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit by which believers are empowered to have a bold and effective witness, manifesting His gifts in their daily lives.

The Church
We believe that the Church is Christ’s body on earth and should reveal His character and love to the world. We believe the Church Universal consists of all believers, while the Church Local is a body of believers joined in a specific area with common vision.

Eternal Destiny
We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, and that both will stand before the judgment seat of Christ; the saved will enter into eternal life, and the lost into eternal damnation.
